#GivingTuesdayNow – a global day of generosity

#GivingTuesdayNow takes place on 5 May 2020

As part of the amazing global response to Covid-19, organisers from Giving Tuesday have asked for a special global day of giving and unity.

That day, #GivingTuesdayNow, will take place on 5 May 2020 – and as a long-time official partner to Giving Tuesday, we’re on board to help make it a success!

What is Giving Tuesday?

Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement that aims to unleash the power of people and organisations to transform the world. And that’s precisely why we love them! The #GivingTuesday movement encourages anyone and everyone to donate time, money or their voice to help a good cause. GivenGain has worked with Giving Tuesday since 2017 to help charities and fundraisers to make a bigger impact through online fundraising.

Why #GivingTuesdayNow?

Traditionally, #GivingTuesday is a day of fundraising that takes place annually on the Tuesday following the Black Friday and Cyber Monday spend fests. This year it falls on 1 December 2020. However, due to the unprecedented need caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, charities need our support right now. That’s why Giving Tuesday organisers have announced an extra day of global giving to help charities continue their work.

  1. We are community from rural villages. We volunteered to create NPO in farming to alleviate poverty in our area. We were given 500ha to use for farming and we request funding for this massive project.

    1. Hi Caswell, thank you for your query. GivenGain does not provide financial assistance, but our platform provides fundraising opportunities to registered NPOs and other fundraisers for charity. Go to https://www.givengain.com/list/ to sign up. Good luck!

  2. Our NPO Mushi tribal NPC has registered with your company. What we lack is the knowledge and understanding of the system. We appreciate your help.
    Thanks
